“Coco takes Manhattan” in Oscar de la Renta
Watching Coco come alive in front of our camera lens was beautiful performance art. She gives you a million moments in such a fearless way and through her talent she made our work greater. Thank you Coco for spending this time with us, you set the bar ridiculously high… and I love it.
oh-so-coco:

THIS IS THE FUTUREThrough my new friends at tumblr headquarters I’ve recently come in contact with a very talented new photographer named Jamie. She and her fiancée create these unique images she calls “cinemagraphs” - more than a photo, but not quite a video. Mark my words friends, this art form is the way of the future.

Another great one.

Who wants to lick the bowl?
Photos at home in the kitchen with Loren Brill for The Daily

This “CINEMAGRAPH” series is ridiculous. Straight up mesmerized by every one. I think I speak for the whole internet in saying: keep doin’ your thing.

WHY I LOVE LOVE STORIES

So here’s the thing: I’m a sap. I get emotional over great love stories. The way I unwind after a rough week is to kick back on the couch and watch two people overcome some absurd set of obstacles and connect for a lifetime of bliss. And as I sit there and watch, I can’t help but comment on how ridiculous it is that the characters even allow such unfortunate events to unfold. Why did Noah let Allie’s parents force his hand into breaking up with her? Why did Mr. Darcy act like such an unmitigated ass to Elizabeth Bennet? Why did Joe Fox have to be a suit first and a suitor second? A slew of cliches come to mind - the grass is always greener, you don’t know what you had until it’s gone, the best things in life are worth fighting for, etc., but whatever…for better or worse this has shaped my view on how love is going to work in my life. I don’t want something easy. I want something really, really hard. I’ll strip out every ounce of doubt and replace it with fear and regret, making room for me to pursue the greatest love with the greatest passion that I have ever known. Look out, Shakespeare, my love story is officially being written.
