In the spirit of the Olympics, I suppose I should...
Albeit for the Ads of the World Awards. Hey, it’s a global showcase just like the Olympics, whatever that’s worth. Check the Ambient category.

Fantastic production quality.
Directed by Tobias Gundorff Boesen. “It is shot in the forests surrounding Viborg, Denmark. My main inspiration was victorian litterature, and “Boxer” by the national. It was painful to finish, as shooting stop motion in the forest at night for longer periods turned out to offer alot of problems :) But it was also great fun and adventure.”

71 Business Cards
This is the number of cardboard collectibles I gathered before landing my very first full-time job in advertising. You see, I recently cleaned out my desk drawer and, to my amusement, discovered the rubber-banded stack of b-cards I had compiled over the course of my final three years in college and first year after earning my degree. I recently thumbed through a One Show annual (Volume 28, I believe), which happened to be for the first time since joining the ranks of CP+B, and I couldn’t believe what I saw, what I felt. For the first time since learning of the ad industry a couple years ago, I questioned the validity of award shows. I sat in disappointment as pages upon pages of work had obviously been done to be...

STOP GIVING ME PRESENTATIONS THROUGH THE MAIL.
“Tell them what you’re going to tell them, tell them and then tell them what you told them.”
That’s how the saying goes for giving effective presentations, right? Fine, that’s all well and good, and if you ever plan on presenting to me in person, online, or on the phone, this “formula” is yours for the using. But what has me upset enough to man my...

I saw this on another person’s blog, but I was so impressed by Nath Milburn’s simplistic style of animation, and an excellent song choice, that I decided to repost. See more of his work here.

This is really amazing. The LifeSaver bottle could revolutionize the way relief is delivered. But even beyond the most elemental uses to sustain human life in developing nations, I think the recreational and emergency possibilities for people in developed countries are endless as well.
